English 101 Exemption Process Information
Who is eligible? Any enrolled or newly admitted student who has not transferred in an ENGL 100/101 equivalent from another university, received a NC in a previous course or a student who received a NP three semesters prior to the term for which he/she is registering. Read More >>
English 302 Petition for Exemption Process
In order to qualify for exemption, students should present writing samples that demonstrate proficiency equal to that of students who have successfully completed ENGL302 and pass a two-hour written essay exam.
