The Composition Program's all-faculty workshop will be Friday, August 16, 2024 on Zoom. Rachel Yoho, Inclusive Excellence Specialist at Mason's Stearns Center, will present a workshop about facilitating difficult classroom conversations. This will be an exciting opportunity for faculty to learn from an expert about how to handle difficult classroom discussions and situations in the moment and how to help student learn in difficult conversations and situations.
In addition to this workshop, faculty will have the opportunity to hear more about ongoing curriculum revision work in the prorgram, discuss student success and support, and discuss AI with staff from the Office of Academic Integrity.
